WHO WE ARE
The ORBO Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization built on the belief that educational opportunity becomes more powerful when combined with resilience, practical development, meaningful experience, strong relationships, leadership, and a commitment to helping others.
ORBO exists to help turn opportunity into lasting personal growth and meaningful impact. The Foundation’s work is guided by a belief in developing capable, responsible young people who are prepared not only to pursue their own potential, but also to use their education, experience, and talents to strengthen the communities around them.
OUR STORY
The ORBO Foundation was created around a simple belief: opportunity can change the direction of a young person’s life, especially when that opportunity is supported by the right guidance, experiences, and people.
For some young people, the challenge is getting to college or career training in the first place. For others, it is having the financial support, mentorship, confidence, practical skills, and real-world experience needed to succeed once they get there. And sometimes, a young person simply needs a second chance after a mistake, setback, or circumstance has changed the course of their life.
ORBO was created to help provide that opportunity.
Our approach goes beyond financial assistance. Through scholarships, mentorship, work and professional experiences, leadership development, financial and life-skills education, and meaningful community service, we want to help young people get to school, get through school, prepare for successful careers, and grow into capable, responsible leaders.
Just as importantly, ORBO is built around the belief that personal opportunity should lead to something greater. As our students learn, grow, and develop, they are also encouraged to give back, serve others, and create a positive impact in the communities around them.
Founded in Ohio in 2024 and recognized as a federal 501(c)(3) organization in 2026, The ORBO Foundation is being built for responsible long-term growth, with a vision of developing partnerships and programs that can ultimately reach young people and communities across the country.
ORBO is about creating opportunity, strengthening resilience, encouraging betterment, and turning personal growth into meaningful outreach and impact.
2024:
FOUNDATION ESTABLISHED
The ORBO Foundation was established in Ohio in 2024, formalizing a charitable vision focused on expanding opportunity, developing young people, and strengthening communities.
2026:
IRS 501(C)(3) RECOGNITION RECEIVED
ORBO received federal recognition as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization in 2026, establishing the formal foundation needed to grow its mission responsibly.
2026 & BEyond:
BUILT FOR LONG-TERM IMPACT
With its charitable status in place, ORBO is focused on developing the partnerships, resources, and organizational capacity needed to support responsible growth and expand its impact over time.
